San Francisco 49ers GM John Lynch accidentally liked a Twitter post trolling quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo during Christmas service

The general manager of the San Francisco 49ers, John Lynch, had to explain a post he liked on Twitter about quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo being left in Nashville after the team lost to the Tennessee Titans.

Lynch said in his Twitter source that he “accidentally and unconsciously” liked the Twitter post about Garoppolo. And more – it happened during the Christmas Mass with his family, Lynch explained.

“I never intended to [like the tweet] and remain a great believer in Jimmy, “Lynch said in Friday night’s post.

The wrong move on Twitter comes after Garoppolo finished 26-of-35 assists for 322 yards and a kick in Thursday’s 20-17 loss to the Titans. He also threw two interventions which played a factor in the loss.

San Francisco is sixth in the NFC right now, so play-offs are not impossible. They host the Houston Texans on Jan. 2 and close their regular season on the road against the Los Angeles Rams.

Lynch and the 49ers bought Garoppolo from the New England Patriots in 2017 for a second round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft. In February 2018, San Francisco signed the center-back for a five-year, $ 137.5 million contract extension.
